Below is the exact email I sent to the Hurricane minutes after I moved out. Safe to say he had a worse Monday than you did...

You claim this is 'ridiculous' but the only thing ridiculous is the kind of roommate you have been the past seven months. You are probably the most disgusting person I've have ever encountered in my life. About 10,000 people per month think the same thing on the blog I write about you on an almost daily basis. It was the only way I could stand living with you, write about it. All the shit you destroyed, all my food and beer you ate, all the disgusting shit you've done, absolutely incredible. Take a few hours and read about yourself and how you look to the rest of the world. Dont skim over it, really really read it.

And as soon as you mentally start trying to rationalize these stories away think about this: every single person that has ever been over our house reads this blog daily, all of our neighbors around 52nd read this blog daily, and they all say pretty much the same thing...you are way worse in real life than this website makes you out to be.
Leave me alone and never talk to me again. If you don't ever bug me again I promise I wont send this link to all your coworkers or put your name or company you work for on the website and it might remain anonymous forever, it is not my intention, at all, to make you look bad.
But when I say never talk to me again, I mean it. If you even respond to this email I will assume you want your identity revealed on the website and I will post this email (email addresses included) and your response to the blog. Leave me alone.

5/5/11 To date I have not heard anything from the Hurricane.
I am still in the process of reading your whole blog and I will tell you I can fully relate.
ReplyDeleteFor 2 years due to financial constriants I was forced in a roommate living situation with a young couple who were total slobs. When confronted about their unwashed dishesthat reeked my sink for days and the dirty kitchen floor and undies on the floor, she totally freaked out on me and had the audacity to call my family and claim the mess was really mine ( excuse me I dont have a baby like she does so the dirty diapers on the sofa are obviosly not mine). They are finally out of my lives but not before striking a devastating a financial blow on my part. As for your article. Meh why book it when you can totally submit it to a good magazine. There are lots of us martyrs and survivors on the crazy side of renting and rooming
Some of us can learn from your wisdom

What did he claim you owed him money for? Did you show this to your landlord to get your security back? This can't be over....I still have so many questions...
ReplyDeletemadly- its hard to reveal more details without revealing identity. but dont worry, eventually all Qs will be answered. i am working on getting the book together now, there will be 20 or more new stories in that one (i didnt post most stories that i didnt have pics for here on the site, but it works fine in a book form) and eventually those will end up here too. phase one is over, phase two is AWESOME and i just dont wanna reveal what we are doing publicly....yet. =)
ReplyDeletefor the last months rent, which was part of the deposit. he was broke as usual and needed more money for the expensive place he was moving into. 2500/mo for a studio. makes sense since he never sleeps in his room anyway...
